Carbon Reduction Plan
Infinity Cash and Carry Ltd · Committed to Net Zero by 2045
Addressing Climate Change
Infinity Cash and Carry Ltd recognises the urgent need to address climate change and is committed to reducing its carbon footprint. As a non-food Cash and Carry operating in the UK, specialising in the import, export, and distribution of confectionery, beverages, vaping products and everyday goods, we understand the significant impact our operations can have on emissions.
This plan outlines our commitment to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2045, aligning with ISO 14001 principles, and implementing enhanced data collection methods to drive emissions reduction across our business.
Compliance & Reporting Framework
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standards. Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol Corporate Standard.
Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting have been applied throughout. This plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors of Infinity Cash and Carry Ltd.
Scope 1 Emissions
Direct emissions from owned or controlled sources — including company vehicles, on-site fuel use and warehouse operations.
Scope 2 Emissions
Indirect emissions from purchased electricity and energy used across our warehouse and office facilities.
Scope 3 Emissions
Value chain emissions including freight and logistics, supplier activities, and the distribution of goods to customers.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements. The required subset of Scope 3 emissions has been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.
Measuring Our Current Emissions
To effectively reduce emissions, it is essential to first establish a baseline. Infinity Cash and Carry Ltd is conducting a comprehensive assessment of current emissions across all operations, including transportation, warehousing, and administrative activities. This assessment captures data on energy consumption, fuel usage, waste generation, and other relevant metrics.
Our Planned Reduction Measures
Based on our emissions baseline, we are implementing and planning a range of measures to reduce our carbon footprint progressively across all three emission scopes.
Energy Efficiency
Upgrading warehouse lighting, insulation and energy management systems to reduce electricity consumption.
Cleaner Transport
Transitioning delivery and logistics vehicles to lower-emission alternatives and optimising delivery routes.
Waste Reduction
Minimising packaging waste, increasing recycling rates, and reducing landfill contributions across our operations.
Supplier Engagement
Working with our supplier network to source from manufacturers with strong sustainability credentials.
