03 Supply Chains

Our Supply Chain Overview

Infinity Cash and Carry Ltd sources products from a range of manufacturers, importers and distributors located both in the United Kingdom and internationally. Our primary product categories include confectionery, snacks, beverages, vaping products and related accessories.

Our international sourcing activities bring goods into the UK from a variety of countries, including those in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. We recognise that global supply chains can present a range of risks, including the potential for labour exploitation, particularly where goods originate from countries with weaker regulatory frameworks or lower levels of worker protection.

We deal primarily with established businesses and recognised importers. The majority of our supply chain partners are UK-based or are large established international companies with their own published policies on ethical trading and modern slavery.

Supply chain scope: Our supply chain covers product manufacturers and brand owners, UK-based importers and agents, freight and logistics providers, and packaging and labelling suppliers. We also operate our own-brand product lines sourced via trusted international manufacturing partners.

04 Policies & Commitments

Our Policies & Standards

Infinity Cash and Carry Ltd is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards across all aspects of our business. We have a number of policies and principles in place that underpin our commitment to preventing modern slavery.

  • Anti-Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy: A zero-tolerance policy covering our own operations and expectations of all supply chain partners.
  • Supplier Code of Conduct: All suppliers are expected to comply with our minimum standards on ethical trading, labour rights and working conditions.
  • Recruitment Policy: We recruit directly and only through reputable agencies. We verify the right to work for all employees and do not use or permit the use of unpaid, bonded or forced labour.
  • Whistleblowing Policy: All staff are encouraged to report any concerns about modern slavery, exploitation or unethical behaviour without fear of reprisal. Reports can be made confidentially to a director.
  • Equality & Diversity Policy: We treat all employees fairly and with dignity, regardless of background, nationality or status.
  • Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy: We operate with integrity in all our business dealings and will not engage with or support businesses involved in corrupt practices.

All staff are made aware of our policies during induction and on an ongoing basis. Directors hold overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with this statement and associated policies across the business.

05 Risk Assessment

Identifying & Assessing Risk

We have carried out a review of our operations and supply chains to identify the areas where the risk of modern slavery is most likely to arise. Our assessment considers the geography of suppliers, the nature of products sourced, the labour intensity of manufacturing, and the vulnerability of workers involved at each stage.

Area Risk Level Rationale
Own employees (UK) Low All staff employed under UK contracts. Right to work verified. Paid at or above National Living Wage.
UK-based suppliers Low Subject to UK employment law and regulatory oversight. Most are established, reputable businesses.
International product manufacturers Medium Manufacturing in certain countries carries higher risk of poor labour practices. Due diligence applied.
Own-brand product sourcing Medium Goods manufactured overseas. We work only with established partners and carry out supplier vetting.
Freight & logistics providers Low We use established UK and international freight companies. Contracts include ethical trading requirements.
Temporary or agency labour Low Any agency workers used are engaged via reputable, registered employment agencies only.
06 Due Diligence

Supplier Due Diligence Process

We take a risk-based and proportionate approach to supplier due diligence. For all new suppliers, we carry out an assessment before engaging with them. For existing suppliers, we carry out periodic reviews, with higher-risk suppliers reviewed more frequently.

1

Supplier Screening

Before engaging a new supplier, we review their business credentials, country of operation, and publicly available information on their labour and ethical trading practices. We request confirmation of their approach to modern slavery where relevant.

2

Contractual Requirements

All supplier agreements include expectations regarding ethical trading, compliance with applicable labour law, and the prohibition of forced or compulsory labour in any form. Suppliers are required to confirm compliance with these requirements.

3

Ongoing Monitoring

We monitor our supply chain on an ongoing basis. Where concerns are raised about a supplier's labour practices, we will investigate and, if necessary, cease trading with them. We encourage staff and business partners to raise any concerns promptly.

4

Corrective Action

If a supplier is found to be in breach of our standards — or if evidence of modern slavery is identified at any point in our supply chain — we will take immediate action. This may include suspension of trading, a requirement for remediation, or termination of the commercial relationship.

07 Training & Awareness

Educating Our Team

We are committed to ensuring that all members of the Infinity Cash and Carry Ltd team understand the risks of modern slavery and know how to identify and report concerns. Awareness of modern slavery forms part of our induction process for all new employees.

  • All new employees receive an induction covering our Anti-Slavery Policy and how to identify and report concerns.
  • Directors and senior staff with supply chain or procurement responsibilities receive additional guidance on conducting due diligence and identifying red flags.
  • We provide ongoing reminders and updates to staff regarding modern slavery risks as part of our commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Staff are made aware of the confidential reporting routes available to them, including the ability to report concerns directly to a director or via our whistleblowing process.
  • We keep up to date with guidance issued by the Home Office, the Modern Slavery Act Registry and relevant industry bodies, and update our practices accordingly.

We recognise that modern slavery awareness is an ongoing responsibility, not a one-off exercise. We are committed to reviewing and strengthening our training approach annually to reflect the latest guidance and any changes to our business operations or supply chains.

08 Performance Indicators

Measuring Our Progress

We measure the effectiveness of our steps to combat modern slavery through the following key performance indicators. These are reviewed by the directors of Infinity Cash and Carry Ltd on an annual basis as part of the preparation of this statement.

  • No confirmed incidents of modern slavery identified in our business or supply chain during the reporting year.
  • All employees have completed induction training that includes modern slavery awareness.
  • All new suppliers onboarded during the year have undergone initial due diligence screening prior to first order placement.
  • All supplier agreements entered into during the year include ethical trading and anti-slavery contractual provisions.
  • This Modern Slavery Statement reviewed, updated and re-published annually and approved by the board of directors.
  • Any concerns or reports received investigated promptly and, where appropriate, escalated to the relevant authorities.
